Well, Adam Rossi's piece came out in Saratoga Today today and he did a very nice job. It was a Q&A, which I have always loved reading and writing when that's what I did for a living.
The photo he used was lifted off the new Web site - this one right here - and though it was of a low resolution, it reproduced only a little bit cloudy.
Pete and I are compiling a bunch of tunes from our two CDs (Live at 13 and Christmas Time of Year) as well as a mic check version of "Georgia," and some live radio tracks we have - though we haven't gotten clearance from the program yet, fingers are crossed.
We are excited to be going to California on April 23 for a performance at the New Communications Forum (http://www.Newcommforum.com).

We played their Boston event in early December, 2007 and we're really looking forward to meeting up with executive director Jennifer McClure and her gang again. Hope we have plenty of the new CD ready for the trip.
Dammitall! Me and Petey were interviewed by Adam Rossi, the fresh faced new music reporter for Saratoga Today, a weekly serving our frigid northern metropolis of Saratoga Springs, NY. Having been a reporter, I still get the willies at the mention of a deadline - despite my having run screaming from the biz 5 years ago. So he says, "Please don't forget to get us a nice press shot of you guys" like 5 times. "Drop deadline is 5 p.m. Thursday. Okay?"
"Sure, no problem" I sez self assuredly as I have deep respect for and fear of the D word - and also because I want my picture in the paper. Makes me feel like a bigshot when I bump into the neighbors at Hannaford.
But I did forget. It's after 8 p.m. on Thursday, and the paper is put safely to bed, the nice young reporter has gone home or out to drink himself to death (because that's the other thing reporters do best), and I didn't provide him with a picture. My old Web site had a press section, but this new Web site only has a place holder as I have yet to figure out how to link over to high res pics of The Tequila Mocingbirds or Bourbon Renewal. Oy.
Okay, so this elephant walks into a bar ... or was it a giraffe?
Oh, nevermind.
